III International Scientific Conference "Energy and Law, Economics and Security Sciences"
Dear Sirs,
The Center for American & European Studies and the Center for Science & Technology invite you to participate in the 3rd International Scientific Conference entitled "Energy from the Perspective of Law, Economics, and Security Studies".
When?
The conference will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 between 9:00 and 16:00 online on the Microsoft Teams platform.
The length of the conference depends on the number of speakers. In the event of a high number of applications, we reserve the right to extend the conference to Sunday, May 25, 2025.
What is the conference about?
The aim of the conference is to examine the issue of energy in the broad sense through the prism of energy law, energy economy, and energy security.
The impact of various types of energy sources and fossil fuels on the international economy and world politics will also be presented.
The presentations may concern historical and contemporary issues and touch upon any selected regions and countries of the world.
Proposed (example) thematic areas:
• dependence of European energy on Russian policy
• destruction of Nord Stream gas systems in the Baltic Sea
• history and development of renewable energy
• nuclear energy - the future or the past?
• implementation of the plan to abandon fossil fuels
• role of BRICS in shaping energy policies
• role of energy resources as a political weapon
• new regulations in energy law
• how to avoid blackouts, or energy problems of the future
• development of renewable energy and the legislation of European and world countries
The above thematic areas are only examples - we strongly encourage you to go beyond them. In addition, presentations may (but do not have to) be interdisciplinary in nature, combining various fields of science.
We do not censor presentations for political or ideological reasons. Original and unconventional presentations will always be appreciated by the Scientific Committee.
Presentations can be based on your own or someone else's research (review of achievements and literature), as well as take the form of case studies. Poster presentations are also accepted.

Presentations in the following languages are accepted:

🇺🇦 Ukrainian
The panels (sessions) within the conference will be arranged according to the above-mentioned languages.

• We cordially invite students and PhD students, experienced researchers, industry practitioners, as well as all other people interested in the conference topics to actively participate in the conference.
• Passive participation does not require any scientific qualifications.
