II National Literary Conference "Faces of Literature"
Dear Sirs,
The Center for American and Center for European Studies invite you to participate in the 2nd National Literary Conference entitled "Faces of Literature".
WHEN?
The conference will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025 between 4:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. online on the Microsoft Teams platform.
The length of the conference depends on the number of speakers.
In the event of a high number of applications, we reserve the right to extend the conference to Saturday, May 24, 2025.
WHAT IS THE CONFERENCE ABOUT?
The main objective of the conference is to discuss literature in its broad sense in all its facets. We will discuss various literary styles, historical periods and genres, as well as the impact of literature on language, culture, art, economy, and society. And much more!
SUGGESTED (EXAMPLE) TOPIC AREAS
• The influence of contemporary social media on the development of new forms of literature and reading
• Feminist perspectives on literary analysis: reinterpreting classic works and discovering forgotten female authors
• The mutual influence of literature and visual arts: the connections between literature and painting, photography and cinema
• The role of literature in promoting culture and national identity in the era of globalization
• The evolution of literary genres: contemporary changes and new forms of expression in literature
• Literature and ecology: understanding the relationship between humans and nature in literary works
• "Tiktokization" and traditional printing
• Revisionist approaches to classic literary works
• Intertextual studies: analyzing the influence of other texts, mythology, popular culture on literature
• The importance of translations in the dissemination and interpretation of international literature
• Children's and youth literature as an educational and culture-forming space
• And many more!
The above-mentioned thematic areas are only examples – we strongly encourage you to go beyond them.
Presentations may be interdisciplinary, combining various experiences and fields of science.
We believe in the freedom of academic discussion and do not censor presentations for ideological or political reasons.
Original and unconventional presentations will always be appreciated by the Scientific Committee.

• We cordially invite students and PhD students, experienced researchers, as well as all other people interested in the conference topics to actively participate in the conference.
• We invite all interested parties to passive participation.
