The Center for European Studies and the Center for American Studies invite you to participate in the 🔒🌐 3rd International Scientific Conference "Privacy, Cybersecurity, E-Commerce. Law, Policy and Compliance". 🌐🔒
When?
The conference will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 between 4:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. online on the Microsoft Teams platform.
In the event of a high number of presentations, we reserve the right to extend the conference to Saturday, May 17, 2025.
What is the conference about?
The aim of the conference is to discuss the issues of privacy, cybersecurity and e-commerce through the interdisciplinary prism of changing legal regulations, compliance standards, data protection policies and evolving technologies.
The conference will focus on contemporary challenges in the most dynamically developing sectors, such as privacy in the virtual world or cybersecurity in the so-called "Cloud".
Proposed (example) thematic areas:
Phishing attacks.
Digital storage media.
Passwords and authentication.
Asset protection and so-called cold wallets.
Mobile device security.
Remote work.
Wi-Fi and public data exchange networks.
Cloud security.
Cyberspace legislation.
Privacy and data protection in the digital world.
Regulatory changes and data protection policies.
Unfair trade practices in e-commerce.
Cybersecurity.
E-commerce challenges.
The above thematic areas are only examples - we strongly encourage you to go beyond them. Presentations can concern issues of any selected countries of the world.
In addition, presentations can be interdisciplinary in nature, combining various fields of science.
We believe in freedom of academic discussion and do not censor presentations for ideological or political reasons.
Original and unconventional presentations will always be appreciated by the Scientific Committee.
For whom?
We cordially invite students and PhD students, experienced researchers, industry practitioners (lawyers, cybersecurity and compliance specialists; entrepreneurs), as well as all other people interested in the conference topics, to actively participate in the conference.
Passive participation does not require any scientific qualifications.
