The unique, one-of-a-kind New Year's Eve rock and roll ball 2024 will be a great start to the New Year 2025.
Rock sounds will be provided by the band Chrząszcze and DJ Mr. Roll'in'Rock. The band will play live immortal hits of the timeless era of rock'n'roll: the greatest hits of Elvis Presley, the Beatles, Roy Orbison or Czerwone Gitary...
In addition to rock and roll hits such as: Hound Dog or Venus, we will also dance to great hits of the 70s, such as Stumblin In - a hit that has recently returned to discos thanks to a new arrangement by DJ 'Cyril'.
The anthem of the evening will be the immortal Rock Around The Clock by Bill Haley and His Comets - a band founded in 1952, which played until Haley's death in 1981.
Rock and roll music, initially perceived as underground music in the artistic sense, will once again - although in the literal sense - resound underground, because in the Warszawa chamber, located 125 meters underground. The magic of New Year's Eve at the "Wieliczka" Salt Mine
The ball will be hosted by Iwona Konieczkowska, an actress associated with, among others, the Teatr Stu in Krakow, and Krzysztof Stawowy, an actor at the Stary Teatr in Krakow, who for this one night of the year will take on the roles of hosts of the only underground rock music scene in the world.
We will start our incredible journey through time with a Rock&Salt cocktail served in a glass covered with Wieliczka salt, and during the entire evening, the tables will also be filled with, among others, veal rolls with dried tomatoes in a dark sauce, with spinach Silesian dumplings and honey-glazed beetroot balls, and buckwheat kaszotto with forest mushrooms and grilled tofu. Sweet accents will include, among others, cherry-pistachio parfait with white chocolate crisp, tofurnik with raspberries and blueberries, cannoli with candied fruit or a tart with watermelon cream.
The ball will be enriched by a dance show performed by professional dancers from the Lady Latte Dance Group.
