DESCRIPTION:<p>Dear Sirs,</p><p>The Center for European Studies and the Center for Amer
 ican Studies invite you to participate in the 5th International Scientific 
 Conference "Contemporary Problems and Challenges of Europe. Legal, Politica
 l, Economic and Social Aspects".</p><p>When?<br />The conference will be he
 ld on Saturday, April 19, 2025 between 9:00 and 16:00 online on the Microso
 ft Teams platform.</p><p>The length of the conference depends on the number
  of speakers. In the event of a high number of applications, we reserve the
  right to extend the conference to Sunday, April 20, 2025.</p><p>What is th
 e conference about?</p><p>The main assumption of the conference is to discu
 ss contemporary and historical problems and challenges of Europe of a polit
 ical, legal, economic and social nature.</p><p>Both history and the 21st ce
 ntury are a period for Europe marked by many multi-level (local, regional a
 nd global) problems and conflicts.</p><p>The organizers would like to discu
 ss, among others: the rule of law crisis in Europe, the legal and political
  systems of selected European countries, the consequences of Brexit, as wel
 l as the social and economic situation.</p><p>Proposed (example) thematic a
 reas</p><p>- the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on relations in Europe<br 
 />- the consequences of Brexit for Poles<br />- the values ​​of the Europea
 n Union - do they still have a reason to exist? <br />- the fight against t
 errorism<br />- Europe for the climate<br />- relations between European co
 untries<br />- human rights in selected European countries<br />- new “enla
 rgements” of the European Union<br />- relations of the European Union with
  great powers<br />- political trends within the European Union</p><p>The a
 bove thematic areas are only examples - we strongly encourage you to go bey
 ond them.</p><p>Presentations may also be interdisciplinary in nature, comb
 ining various fields of science.</p><p>We believe in the freedom of academi
 c discussion and do not censor presentations for ideological or political r
 easons.</p><p>Original and unconventional presentations will always be appr
 eciated by the Scientific Committee.</p><p>Conference Languages<br />Presen

 h<br />Ukrainian</p><p>The panels (sessions) within the conference will be 
 arranged according to the above-mentioned languages.</p><p>For whom? </p><p
