EVENT DESCRIPTION
II National Conference of Psychologists and Cognitive Scientists
Dear Sirs,
The Center for European Studies and the Center for American Studies invite you to participate in the 3rd National Conference of Psychologists and Cognitive Scientists.
When?
The conference will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, between 4:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. online on the Microsoft Teams platform.
The length of the conference depends on the number of speakers. In the event of a high number of presentations, we reserve the right to extend the conference to Saturday, July 26, 2025.
What is the conference about?
The main objective of the conference is to discuss contemporary problems and challenges faced by psychology and cognitive science.
The world around us is constantly evolving, and events in recent years such as the pandemic or the war in Ukraine have undoubtedly influenced the way we think. The same applies to evolving technologies, whose impact on the human mind is currently one of the most widely discussed topics.
Presentations at the conference may concern issues of general/theoretical psychology (including developmental, cognitive, or personality psychology), as well as applied psychology and specific disciplines (including social, economic, educational, or clinical psychology) and related sciences (neuropsychology, psychiatry).
Proposed (example) thematic areas:
mental health in the 21st century
methods of work of contemporary psychologists
psychology and cognitive science and neuroscience
cognitive psychology and the world of technology
human consciousness
challenges of contemporary cognitive science
history of the emergence of cognitive science
computer simulations of thought processes
symbolic cognitive science and subsymbolic cognitive science – directions of development
clinical psychology
clinical case studies
methods of psychotherapy
psychodramas, pantomimes, psychodrawings and projective methods
cognitive science and work in the IT industry
what cognitive science can tell us about artificial intelligence
psychology and cognitive science in marketing
psychology of sales
psychology of love
The above thematic areas are only examples – we strongly encourage you to go beyond them.
In addition, presentations may be interdisciplinary in nature, combining various fields of science (e.g. psychology with law, psychology with economics, psychology with health sciences, cognitive science with computer science, etc.).
We believe in academic freedom. Unconventional presentations will always be appreciated by the Scientific Committee of the conference.
For whom?
We cordially invite students and PhD students, experienced researchers, as well as all other people interested in the conference topics to actively participate in the conference.
Passive participation does not require any scientific qualifications.
